2023 UCI Cycling World Championships

The first combined UCI Cycling World Championships take place in Scotland from 3-13 August – and all the action will be shown live across the BBC. Over 11 days of competition, 13 World Championships will be contested across seven disciplines, with Para-cycling fully integrated for the first time.

ELEV8 were appointed to provide the central creative concept for the Sports Presentation across the 13 World Championships, ensuring all events feel interconnected.

– Management of the central content hub for core event content for all 13 World Championships.
– Incorporating scripting, storyboards and music tracks for critical moments.
– Leading workshops with the venue delivery partners and briefing the event protocol handbook.
– Building the event identity through content creation across all 13 disciplines.
– Management of all national anthem and national flag sign-off processes of all countries in the world.
– Weaving in a Scottish narrative to ensure a national sense of pride in being the first to host this multi-championship event.
