Davis Cup Finals, Group Stages

The LTA hosted the Davis Cup Finals, Group Stages in Manchester at the AO Arena for the second consecutive year.  The event, widely regarded as the men’s ‘World Cup of Tennis’, enabled fans to see Argentina, Finland, Canada and Great Britain battle it out for a spot in Finals later in the year in Malaga.

The atmosphere was described by the Great Britain team as “That’s the loudest crowd I’ve played in front of when they got going at the end. That’s a credit to the teams organising these events at the LTA, to get over 15,000 fans in without Andy Murray. To get that is an exceptional effort.”
