Big Game 17

We’re proud that Harlequins trusted ELEV8 to deliver our first Big Game match day, reflecting a shared ambition to elevate club rugby entertainment.

For Big Game 17, we created a stadium display with in-bowl lighting, haze, video screens, lasers, a new stage skirt, tunnel lighting, three-sided pitch-side gerb chases, and a headline DJ set by Groove Armada, turning the stadium into a live music event with 360-degree roof pyrotechnics, and we even had real reindeer in the fan zone. Behind it all was a team, working through late-night rehearsals, adjusting plans in real time, and carefully managing the weather and pitch protection to ensure the show went ahead without compromising the game.

One of the standout moments came behind the scenes, working in secret with the club and TNT Sports to deliver a Danny Care tunnel walk-and-talk that ended with a perfectly timed pyro mic-drop. Huge credit to the Harlequins team, our crew, and all partners involved for the trust, collaboration, and precision that made this happen.
