The first time the six-day World Championships had been hosted in the UK. Our scope extended across multiple creative, marketing, content and technical briefs with the aim of encouraging the engagement of local fans.
Taekwondo, a technically complex sport, was bought to life by building a refreshing and contemporary environment, with fun content, while maintaining the standards of this global sport.
As a side project, we developed a ‘World first’ graphics package triggered by athletes’ wearable Daedo strike monitors to enhance fans’ understanding of the lightning-fast action and keep up with the score.
